Just recently sold a "No" regarding my job in what I hope was a short but polite way. Still the thought keeps nagging at me: What If?!

What if that community I just said no to get´s good great and mighty? And I´m the one who aborted it for our company. I´m sure other people feel this also, still I would like to have a
safeguard for this. Who doesn´t?
