I always wonder if there is a map that shows how an earthquake in one part of a tectonic disc affects the other parts of that and adjacent disks. After all, Earth is one ball, so one movement at one point should have an effect elsewhere, no?
And recently NASA has confirmed that we have now shorter days and that the earth axis is toppled a bit – so if there is faster rotation first of all: aren´t there some measurements (something like the minute or the kilo) that is based on the rotation? And second: Earth does have a liquid core – if that liquid is spinned faster – will it find a “weak spot” in her crust and result in volcanic-eruptions? If yes, where is the bulge that is most likely to break?
And what will happen after the eruption? Will Earth finally have peace with pressure from the gigant reservoir dam over in Asia?
Does anyone have ideas on this?
