English for runaways
Autocorrection sometimes is very funny.
This was the sentence we wanted to use as part of our theoretical foundation of our paper:
"Spontaneous action is the most fundamental characteristic of all living things" (Kiehlhofner 2002)
Autocorrection didn´t agree! It thought that:
"Spontaneouw actien is the most fundamentele karakteristiek of al living dinges".
Thank you Autocorrection!

Since reading some books on language I´m again very interested in languages and the influence of it. And because I have linked this site to some foreign sites I wonder if I should carry on writing in English.
I think being lazy I will use what language is at the forefront of my mind - because some things cannot be expressed in another language without a lot of explanation. Yesterday I tried to realte a german joke in English - not possible. But then maybe I will not accomomdate the readers that would like to read in englisch? (Especially those that got attracted to my blog by the english language musings...) Hm. Well wondering about two or three readers or so...
Do you have an opinion/preferrence? Please let me know (in the comments).
